St Giles Medical Rehabilitation Centre was delighted to welcome students from St George’s College, who returned to the Centre to make a generous donation after completing their attachment programme with us.

Having spent time learning about rehabilitation services and working alongside our dedicated healthcare professionals, the students chose to give back by donating a variety of much-needed items to support patient care across the Centre.
The donation included toys, puzzles, urine bags, gauze, massage guns and other essential supplies, which will benefit several departments, including Physiotherapy, Adult Occupational Therapy, Children’s Occupational Therapy and the Ward.
Their thoughtful contribution will help enhance both rehabilitation programmes and the overall patient experience, particularly for children and individuals undergoing long-term rehabilitation.
Speaking on the visit, St Giles expressed its sincere appreciation for the students’ generosity and community spirit.
“Acts of kindness like these remind us that healthcare extends beyond clinical treatment. Compassion, generosity and a willingness to serve others all play an important role in helping patients on their journey to recovery.”

At St Giles, we value partnerships with schools, universities and community organisations that inspire future healthcare professionals while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the students and staff of St George’s College for their kindness and generosity. We wish the students every success as they continue their education and future careers, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in their communities.
Together, we continue rebuilding lives and restoring independence
